Kandhamal, Sept 4: In a recent operation, the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Odisha Police successfully dismantled a Maoist camp located in the Tudi Bahal jungle of Kandhamal district.
According to sources, the SOG team, acting on a tip-off about Maoist activity in the region, conducted a search operation in the area. Although no Maoist insurgents were present at the camp during the search, the team uncovered a range of materials, including food supplies, medicines, saline solutions, and explosive substances.
The Kandhamal Superintendent of Police confirmed the findings, noting that the materials seized from the camp included various provisions and explosive items.
