Bhubaneswar: Did Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan renege on his promise? The question has stirred many inside and outside the realm of SRK huge fan club. SRK fans reacted very strongly against the claims made by Love Story fame actress and sister of popular actresss and singer Sulakshna Pandit, Vijayta Pandit.
In a interview to Lehren Retro, Love Story fame actress Vijayta Pandit, and wife of famous music composer late Aadesh Shrivastava, speaking to well known film critic Bharti S Pradhan, said, “Shah Rukh Khan used to visit the hospital to see him, on the last day before his demise, Aadesh, when he was unable to speak, holding Shah Rukh Khan’s hand pointed towards our son. He gestured SRK to take care of my son.”
She said a phone number of SRK given to her son is not working, and we couldn’t reach SRK, and added in the same vein that “he seems little pushed.”
In the interview to Lehren Retro, Pandit said, “Avitesh works so hard, he has recorded music with Akon and French Montana, among others. But unfortunately, my son is not getting support or direction in the film industry. Industry people know that today Aadesh is not here, they should help him. You won’t believe when Aadesh was in the hospital, Shah Rukh Khan used to visit. They were good friends.”
MY BROTHERS HAND IN SRK’S SHINE
In the freewheeling interview, actress Vijayta Pandit said, “My brothers Jatin-Lalit has a big hand in Shah Rukh Khan’s career touching the dizzy heights. The popular songs they composed for him in Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Haan, Kabhi Naa et al played a crucial role in giving a buoy up his sails to superstardom .”
How Could SRK HELP?
Pandit revealed, “Shah Rukh Khan can make a film with my son. He (Avitesh) is such a good actor, he is doing a film called Sirf Ek Friday that will be released soon on OTT. I am not praising my son. He is working so hard. I want to remind Shah Rukh that this is the time, come and help us, my son.”
COMMENDS TIGER SHROFF BIG
Commenting on how the world turned upside down for her after Adesh’s demise, Vijayta said, “After Adesh’s untimely death, none from the film industry has visited our house, though our house was hustling and bustling with big parties, big names when Adesh was alive, none asked me how I am now, let aside visiting. My experience tells me there is nothing like a bollywood family. All are fair weather friends.”
However, in the same vein, Vijayta lauds Tiger Shroff, who always works with Avitesh, emboldens him up, and says Bro, this song is made by Adesh. Don’t let the legacy go, you have to work hard.” In the same breath, Vijayta says, “God Bless him.”
Music composer Aadesh Shrivastava passed away of blood cancer in 2015. He sold cars for 1 crore to arrange money for his treatment.
