During the post-match press conference, she highlighted how players like Deepti Sharma, Sneh Rana, and Radha Yadav effectively utilized the turning track conditions to secure the win. Overcoming Middle-Order Struggles

India batted first and posted a competitive total of 159 for 9. Shafali led the charge aggressively, smashing 64 runs off just 36 deliveries. Her explosive innings included eight boundaries and three sixes. Despite reaching a comfortable 108 for 2 in the early stages, the team suffered a sudden middle-order collapse. Thailand's bowlers, especially Suleeporn Laomi, fought back fiercely to restrict the scoring rate. Laomi claimed three wickets for 26 runs, leaving the Indian side struggling at 137 for 9 at one point. Shafali acknowledged that she made a slight mistake against the gripping ball, noting that Thailand executed their spin strategies exceptionally well during those middle overs.

Spinners Secure Decisive Win

Defending the total, the Indian bowlers completely dismantled the opposition line-up. Thailand collapsed for a mere 65 runs in 16.1 overs. Deepti Sharma delivered an astonishing spell, taking three wickets without conceding a single run in her 1.1 overs. Nandni Sharma also contributed heavily with three wickets for 18 runs. Nannapat Koncharoenkai was the only batter to resist the attack, scoring a determined 41 off 48 balls.
