Senior Assistant at City Hospital, Cuttack arrested by Odisha Vigilance in DA case

Cuttack, August 23: Odisha Vigilance on Friday arrested Sri Kishore Kumar Sahani, Senior Assistant at City Hospital under the office of the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO), Cuttack, in a disproportionate assets (DA) case. He will be produced before the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack later today.
The arrest follows extensive raids on Sahani’s properties, during which Vigilance officials uncovered assets vastly disproportionate to his known sources of income. The seized assets include two buildings, 19 high-value plots, ₹3.30 lakh in cash, 135 grams of gold, and bank and other deposits exceeding ₹55.48 lakh. Sahani reportedly failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for these holdings.
The case has been registered under Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No. 25/2025.
