Bhubaneswar, Nov 24: In connection with the ongoing police Sub-Inspector recruitment exam fraud case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has questioned several candidates over the past weekend. So far, summons have been issued to 20 individuals, of whom 12 have already been interrogated.

On Saturday, seven candidates appeared before the CBI and underwent marathon questioning lasting six to seven hours. Following the interrogation, none of them made any statements. The questioning focused on their involvement in the alleged recruitment scam.

Earlier on Saturday morning, two candidates were interrogated and subsequently released. By around 3 PM, four more candidates had arrived at the CBI office, followed by another candidate later in the day. These individuals, who had previously been arrested but were out on bail, were summoned again to provide further information to the investigating agency.

The CBI continues to probe the case to uncover the full details of the alleged fraud in the police SI recruitment process.
