Bhubaneswar, June 20: The School and Mass Education Department today announced that all the government and private schools across Odisha will function normally from June 22.
The decision has been taken following improvement in weather situation due to advancement of monsoon.
However, the morning classes of students from class 1 to 12 will be conducted from 6:30 am to 10:30 am on June 21.
Earlier, the state government had authorised the district collectors to take call on re-opening of schools considering the weather situation.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi had directed all the district collectors to take the decision to open schools based on the weather department information.
