Bhubaneswar, Feb 21: Today marks the second subject of the matriculation board examination, with students set to take the English language paper.

This year, a total of 5,61,979 students from across the state will be appearing for the exam. The examination will commence at 9 AM and will be conducted across 3,082 centres. Given the heightened demand for a smooth and organized exam process, the government has made special arrangements to ensure seamless conduct.

Examination centres are equipped with CCTV surveillance, and the monitoring will be done independently from the control room. A live streaming system has been set up for 1,364 centres to ensure real-time observation.

The question papers will be closely monitored using AI-based professional expertise. Police personnel have been deployed at all examination centres, and the board has also implemented widespread measures to prevent cheating. A three-tier security squad has been arranged to prevent the use of mobile phones in the exam halls.

Special vigilance teams will be visiting the examination centres to ensure proper procedures. To further reduce the chances of cheating, the question papers will contain QR codes and watermarks for added security.
