New Delhi, July 22: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Wednesday appealed to environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike, saying he would personally hand over a letter signed by several Members of Parliament requesting him to call off the fast.

Speaking at a press conference, Singh said he is scheduled to meet Wangchuk later in the day to deliver the letter.

"Several MPs have jointly written to Sonam Wangchuk, urging him to end his hunger strike. At the same time, the youth movement at Jantar Mantar should continue. We stand firmly with you, and the entire country supports your cause. Please keep this movement alive and continue raising the voice of the youth," Singh said.
