Sambalpur, Jan 11: Newborn girl ‘Bijayini’, who was rescued from a bore-well in Odisha’s Sambalpur district after an intensive operation last month, has been discharged from hospital on Thursday.
Following the clearance from the team of paediatricians of the VIMSAR, the newborn was advised to be put in special childcare home, said sources.
The baby was undergoing treatment at the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) at Burla since her rescue.
Worth mentioning, the baby was rescued from an abandoned well at Laripali under Rengali police limits on December 12. Thereafter, she was undergoing treatment at VIMSAR in Burla.
