Bhubaneswar: The makers of Housefull franchise have packed more punches to their franchises fifth installment Houseful 5. The buzz is Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek Bachchan will join the star cast led by Akshay Kumar.
Houseful 5 is produced by Sajid Nadiawala and directed by Tarun Mansukhani. The film will hit the theatres on June 6, 2025. The makers have promised to deliver the cine goers a blockbuster laugh riot.
Prime Video, which released the poster of the film, has captioned “Introducing Houseful 5 with five times the laughter, madness and confusion.”
The much awaited francise film already has an ensemble of star cast like Ritesh Deshmukh, Kirti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Jackie Shroff.

The original ‘Rocky’ star Sanjay Dutt has delivered intense roles in KGF 2, Agneepath, let aside in Khalnayak as the bad guy. Though he loved the roles and enjoy it doing, the tall and handsome superstar of 90’s yearns for romance.
Yes you heard it right. The gritty actor believes he can reclaim the magic of 90’s romantic blockbuster ‘Saajan’. With a classic touch by Nadeem Shravan, the musical songs of the film were top chartbusters in 1991. Even after 33 years, the songs still make music buffs go crazy.
In a recent interaction, Sanjay Dutt said,” Will do romance, if good film comes. I did Saajan one time. I can do more Saajan. It was good film with good songs.”
HOUSEFUL 4 FLASHBACK
The fourth installment of the houseful franchise was a slapstick comedy based on the theme of reincarnation. The film was helmed by Sajid Khan. But was later removed after #MeToo allegations surfaced against him. Farhad Samji took over the director's chair after Sajid Khan's exit. The film had a star cast led by Akshay Kumar, and stars like Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Chunky Panday and Rana Daggubati.
