Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: In preparation for the upcoming elections, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched a helpline to assist voters with various election-related queries. From 8 AM to 8 PM, citizens can call the toll-free number 1800-11-1950 to resolve their doubts and submit complaints regarding the voting process.

The ECI has announced that voters can also use the online Book-a-Call feature with the BLO (Booth Level Officer) for assistance. The helpline will address a wide range of concerns, including voter registration, new voter enrollments, and other election-related issues.

The helpline is staffed by trained personnel who will provide responses to the voters' questions and concerns. Additionally, these officials will help voters and other stakeholders by offering guidance on election services and solutions to various issues.

To ensure prompt resolution of complaints, the ECI has instructed the establishment of communication centers at district levels across all states and Union Territories. These centers will operate throughout the year, offering assistance in regional languages and providing answers to all queries. Voters can also email their complaints to [email protected] for further assistance.

For those who prefer to speak directly, the 1950 Voter Helpline number is also available for calls to resolve any election-related issues.
