Eligibility criteria:
Candidates must meet all educational and technical qualifications by the closing date. Those awaiting results are not eligible.
Single application:
Each candidate can apply to only one RRB, submitting a single common online application.
Submission:
Applications must be submitted through the official RRB websites. Applying to multiple RRBs will result in rejection.
Provisional eligibility:
Eligibility will be provisional based on the application details. Detailed scrutiny will occur after candidates qualify for document verification.
Communication:
Candidates must provide an active mobile number and valid email ID for recruitment-related communications.
Age criteria:
Candidates must be between 18 and 36 years old as of January 1, 2025.
Pay scale:
Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): Level 6, initial pay Rs 35,400 plus allowances
Chemical Supervisor / Research and Metallurgical Supervisor / Research: Level 7, initial pay Rs 44,900 plus allowances
Selection process:
Computer Based Test (CBT) 1: 100 questions in 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates)
CBT 2: 150 questions in 120 minutes (160 minutes for PwBD candidates)
Document Verification (DV)
Medical Examination (ME)
Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every wrong answer in CBT exams.
Application fee:
All Candidates: Rs 500 (Rs 400 refundable after appearing in CBT 1)
Reserved Category Candidates: Rs 250 (fully refundable after appearing in CBT 1)
