Bhubaneswar, Feb 7: The Higher Education Department of the Odisha government has reopened the scholarship portal under the Chief Minister’s Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana for the 2025–26 academic year, offering fresh opportunities to students to apply for scholarships against remaining vacant seats.
As per the official notification, online applications will be accepted from February 6 to February 26, 2026. The department has clarified that no extension will be granted beyond the stipulated deadline.
With the reopening of the portal, students can apply under several scholarship schemes, including e-Medhabruti (UG Merit), e-Medhabruti (PG Merit), e-Medhabruti (Technical and Professional), Byaasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhashabruti Yojana, and Gopabandhu Siksha Sahayata Yojana.
The department has made it mandatory for Non-SAMS students to upload required documents through DigiLocker to ensure faster verification of applications.
