Salepur (Cuttack), July 29: Kindness is the language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see and good deed is a ripple that touches hearts far beyond its reach. In a dramatic turn of events, students, their parents, and local villagers staged a protest against the transfer of a school teacher in Odisha’s Cuttack district.

As per reports, the students of Machhuati Primary School in Salipur block of the district along with their parents and local villagers protested this morning by locking the school gate with a padlock. The demonstrators gathered in front of the school, blocking the entrance in a bid to draw attention to their cause.

The anger was palpable as the agitated crowd sat in front of the school gate, effectively halting all educational activities for the day.

At the heart of the protest is the unexpected transfer of a teacher, whose sudden reassignment has disrupted the learning environment at the school.

According to sources, the teacher was moved to another location, sparking a wave of frustration among both students and their families, who consider the teacher crucial to the school’s academic success.

The agitators have stated that they will persist with the protest until their demands are met, including the cancellation of the teacher's suspension and a resolution to the issue.
