Bhubaneswar, August 13: Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari on Wednesday warned Odisha Rajaswa Amala Sangha members on mass leave that essential services will continue without them and any negligence will invite strict action, including salary stoppage under the “no work, no pay” rule.
Pujari urged them to end the strike and resolve issues through dialogue, noting that their cadre restructuring demand lies with another department.
The strike, ongoing since Aug 11, has disrupted public services statewide.
The government has directed collectors to reject leave, ensure attendance, withhold salaries, record the absence as service breaks, and initiate disciplinary action against misconduct.
