Balasore, Oct 22: Balasore Police have arrested a youth for allegedly raping a divyang girl forcefully barging into her house.
The accused has been identified as a bicycle repairer of Taranga village under the Khaira police limit.
Sources, the cycle mechanic allegedly raped the divyang girl finding her alone at home. Responding to her alarm locals caught hold of the accused and informed the police.
Acting on it, a team from Khaira police station went to the village and took the man into custody. After the girl’s family filed a complaint against the cycle mechanic, the police registered a case and arrested him.
Police investigation revealed that the accused was wanted in another molestation case.
