While Raghuvanshi missed his maiden hundred, Siddhesh Lad and Shreyas Iyer remained at the day-one stumps with 116 and 152 runs respectively. Riding on Lad and Shreyas’ unbroken partnership of 231 runs off 298 balls, Mumbai ended Day One at 385 for three.
Odisha has not had the greatest start to the Ranji Trophy, beginning with an abandoned fixture against Tripura, followed by a fighting draw against Jammu and Kashmir, where they let the visitors come from behind. Things only worsened from there, as Baroda defeated them by an innings. As it stands, Odisha is second from the bottom in their group.
