"Ramayan" fame Arun Govil joins BJP campaign blitz in Odisha

Arun Govil, renowned for his portrayal of Lord Ram in the iconic TV series ‘Ramayan’, arrived in Bhubaneswar today as part of the BJP’s vigorous campaign ahead of the third-round simultaneous elections in Odisha.

Bhubaneswar, May 22: Arun Govil, renowned for his portrayal of Lord Ram in the iconic TV series ‘Ramayan’, arrived in Bhubaneswar today as part of the BJP’s vigorous campaign ahead of the third-round simultaneous elections in Odisha.

 

Making his political debut by contesting the 2024 polls from Meerut, Govil highlighted the BJP's commitment to national progress, emphasizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. "Everyone wants the country to progress, and there is no better alternative to BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for it," he stated during interactions with the media, urging citizens to exercise their voting rights.

 

Scheduled to address public meetings in Champua and Telkoi in Keonjhar district, Govil's itinerary also includes a roadshow in Dhenkanal and an address at Jaydev Assembly constituency in Khurda district.

 

The upcoming elections on May 25 will encompass voting in Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Puri, and Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seats, along with 42 Assembly segments falling under these parliamentary constituencies.
