Kashmiri doctor's tip-off helps police prevent potential major terror attack.

In a significant breakthrough against terrorism, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have uncovered a massive cache of explosives near the national capital. Following a crucial tip-off, security forces recovered a 300kg RDX haul, along with an AK-47 rifle and significant ammunition, in Faridabad, Haryana.

The recovery was made based on startling disclosures from Dr. Adeel Ahmad Rather, who is currently in the custody of the J&K Police. Officials revealed that interrogations led them to the hideout in Faridabad. Prior to this massive seizure, police had already discovered an AK-47 and other ammunition in a locker belonging to Dr. Rather in the Kashmir Valley.

Investigations have widened to include another medical professional, Dr. Muzamil Shakeel from Pulwama district. He is suspected of assisting in stocking these dangerous materials in Faridabad. Both doctors have been transported back to Jammu and Kashmir for further questioning as authorities dig deeper into what is being called one of the largest explosive seizures linked to the Valley in recent years.

Security agencies are now closely monitoring a group of doctors from the region, suspecting potential ties to known terror outfits such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ghazwat-ul-Hind. Officials anticipate further arrests and recoveries as they work to dismantle the network responsible for smuggling these arms outside the Union Territory.

The accused are facing serious charges under the Arms Act and several sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Concurrently, a widespread anti-terror operation is active across Jammu and Kashmir. Following intelligence that terrorists are seeking winter hideouts in the plains, search operations have been intensified in districts like Ramban, Doda, and Rajouri, leading to the detention of nine individuals so far.
