Bhubaneswar, Jan 24: The traditional state dances will be performed during the Republic Day parade on Gandhi Mark here in the state capital.
The Sahi Jaat tableau of Puri will be the main attraction of the state-level parade in Bhubaneswar.
Besides, tribal dance Rasarkeli Bo from Sambalpur, Baha Nrutya from Mayurbhanj, Jodi Sankha and Ranapa dance from Ganjam and Dhemsa from Koraput will be performed during the parade.
Rehearsals were on full swing on the Mahatma Gandhi Mark for the last two days and the final rehearsal was conducted this morning.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the state-level parade. A total of 30 platoon force will be deployed at the parade ground and 200 police officials will oversee the security arrangements.
Governor Raghubar Das will unfurl the 'Tricolour' in Bhubaneswar and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will attend the celebration as chief guest.
