Puri, July 18: The inner chamber of the Ratna Bhandar at Srimandir in Puri was reopened on Thursday.
A panel under the aegis of the Ratna Bhandar inventory committee entered the Ratna Bhandar for the second time in this week, at an auspicious time 9.51 am.
As announced by Justice Biswanath Rath, chairman of the High-level Committee while entering the Ratna Bhandar, the gems and Jewels of the inner cellar will be properly verified. Following this, they will be ported to the Changada Ghar, to the temporary locker for accounting and video documentation.
Worth mentioning, the high-level panel accompanied by the ASI and Shri Jagannath Temple Administration had earlier verified the belongings of the outer cellar of the Ratna Bhandar on July 14, following statutory nod of the government.
