Puri, Aug 17: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman interacted with the craftsmen and artisans of Raghurajpur, a heritage crafts village in Odisha’s Puri on Thursday.
During the interaction, Sitharaman, who is on a two-day visit to the state, also highlighted the benefits of the 'PM Vishwakarma' Scheme which was announced on the Independence Day.
Notably, Sitharaman visited the pilgrim town of Puri and offered prayers at the Shri Jagannath Temple today.
She visited the 12th-century shrine on the second day of her tour amidst tight security and sought blessings from the trinity – Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra and Lord Jagannath.
