Bhubaneswar, June 29: In a bid to boost up nourish & care of tiny tots in educational institutions, provision of Sishu Sebika’ in Odisha schools is going to begin shortly.
The Odisha government has decided to appoint ‘Sishu Sebikas’ who will work as the ‘Childcare Assistants’ in Sishu Vatika classes.
The CMO, Odisha released a notification in this regard on Sunday.
The provision of Sishu Sebikas will boost up care and nourish of the children especially in the lower-primary classes.
According to government sources,the numbers of ‘Sishu Sebikas’ will be decided in proportionate to the strength of the schools.Their remuneration will be equivalent to that of the Pachikas(cooks), engaged in the Mid Day Meal(MDM) provision.
