Bhubaneswar, Jan 15: President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today extended greetings to people on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.

Similarly, PM Modi took to his official ‘X’ handle and wrote “Many best wishes for Makar Sankranti, the holy festival associated with the sacred tradition of meditation, meditation, and charity. On this festival of nature, I wish Uttarayan Sun God to provide happiness, prosperity, good fortune, and good health to all my family members of the country.”
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also wished people on the auspicious occasion and wrote, “Heartiest greetings and congratulations on the occasion of the holy Makar Sankranti. May everyone’s life be filled with happiness and prosperity by the grace of Lord Shri Jagannath.”
