Night temperatures remain steady before increasing later this week.

Bhubaneswar: Residents across Odisha can expect the current winter conditions to persist for a few more days without drastic fluctuation. According to the latest bulletin from the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, dated January 24, 2026, dry weather has prevailed over most districts, maintaining the seasonal chill.

Coldest Pockets in the State

Winter's grip is tightest in the hill stations and interior pockets. G. Udayagiri has recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the hill stations, dropping to a shivering 5.7°C. Meanwhile, in the plains, Rourkela emerged as the coldest spot with a minimum temperature of 8.5°C. Forecast: Stable Nights Followed by a Rise

The weather department has indicated that there will be no large change in the minimum temperature (night temperature) over the next four days across the districts of Odisha.
