Athamallik, Ap 8: In a major crackdown in the Budulimunda area of Athamallik, police have seized a substantial amount of alcohol, poch, and motorcycles. Three individuals-Rakesh Sahu, Lipun Nayak, and Bikari Behera-all residents of Budulimunda village, have been arrested in connection with the case.

Officials from the Athamallik Excise Department reported that over three quintals of pocha and more than 200 liters of country-made liquor were destroyed.

Authorities noted that Budulimunda village has been witnessing widespread illegal production and sale of alcohol. Police and excise officials have stated that regular raids and vigilance will continue to curb illicit liquor activities in the area.
