PM Modi to release commemorative postage stamp and coin for RSS centenary

New Delhi, September 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil a commemorative postage stamp and coin this week in celebration of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) centenary year.

The RSS, which was established on Vijayadashmi in 1925, will mark its 100th anniversary this Thursday.

Sources indicate that the prime minister will release the special stamp and coin on Wednesday, with RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale present, as part of the lead-up to the organisation's centenary celebrations.
