The announcement comes as today marks the last date for submitting applications for Plus 3 admissions into undergraduate courses across the state. With the Plus 2 results still pending, many students have raised concerns about facing difficulties in filling out the Plus 3 forms and determining their eligibility.
Acknowledging the situation, Minister Gond stated that the government is aware of the inconvenience caused to students. He added that the School and Mass Education Department will formally request the Higher Education Department to extend the deadline for Plus 3 form submissions.
“There will be no more delays. The Plus 2 exam results 2025 will be out within two days,” Gond said. “We understand the concern among students, especially with Plus 3 form submissions closing today. We will ask the Higher Education Department to consider extending the last date so that students are not affected.”
He also pointed out that without the Plus 2 results, it would be difficult to calculate the merit list for undergraduate admissions, making an extension necessary.
Students across Odisha have been eagerly awaiting their Plus 2 results, which are crucial for pursuing higher education. The assurance from the minister brings some relief, with a clear timeline now set for the release of results and steps being taken to ensure a smooth transition to the next academic level.
Further updates from the Higher Education Department regarding the form submission deadline extension are expected soon.
