The attack caused panic and destruction. In the chaos, Prashant was shot in the head and unfortunately died from his injuries. Notably, as many as 28 civilians, mostly tourists, were killed when terrorists opened fire at Baisaran, a well-known meadow near the resort town of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, around 3 PM on Tuesday.
