New Delhi, Jan 05: More than 100 flights were delayed at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Sunday as dense fog and low visibility disrupted operations. While there were no diversions or cancellations, flight schedules were impacted due to adverse weather conditions affecting the region for the past three days.

Low Visibility Procedures remain in effect at the airport, but flight operations have not been significantly disrupted. Passengers were advised to contact their respective airlines for the latest updates on their flights, according to a post by Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) on X at 8:45 AM.

DIAL, which manages the airport, handles around 1,300 flight movements daily.

In a statement at 12:59 AM, IndiGo Airlines confirmed that flights to and from Delhi, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Kolkata, and Lucknow were impacted by the weather conditions. The airline expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to passengers and encouraged them to check its website or app for alternative flight options.
