Operation ShivShakti: Two terrorists attempting to infiltrate across LoC gunned down in J&K

New Delhi, July 30: Indian Armed Forces on Wednesday launched an anti-infiltration operation codenamed "Operation ShivShakti" and gunned down two terrorists attempting to cross the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per reports, the security officials recovered three weapons during the operation, which was launched based on precise intelligence inputs from the Indian Army's intelligence units and the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP).
According to the Indian Army's White Knight Corps, alert soldiers responded with precise firepower and successfully stopped the infiltrators' plans.
Taking to its official ‘X’ handle, White Knight corps posted, "#OPERATION SHIVSHAKTI - In a successful anti-infiltration operation, alert troops of the #IndianArmy eliminated two terrorists attempting to infiltrate across the Line of Control. Swift action and accurate firepower thwarted the nefarious designs. Three weapons have been recovered. Synergistic and synchronised intelligence inputs from own intelligence units and #JKP led to a successful operation. Operation in progress."
The coordinated efforts of the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) led to the timely detection and neutralisation of the threat, boosting security along the LoC.
