Bhubaneswar, July 31: Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom operator, has revised its postpaid plan offerings following a tariff hike on July 3, 2024. Now, the company offers only two postpaid plans under the Rs 500 category: the Rs 349 plan and the Rs 449 plan. However, customers should note that these prices are exclusive of GST, which is approximately 18%. This means the Rs 349 plan will effectively cost Rs 411.82, and the Rs 449 plan will be Rs 529.82 per month.
One notable advantage of these postpaid plans is the inclusion of unlimited 5G data. Here’s a breakdown of the plans:
Reliance Jio Rs 349 Postpaid Plan
The Rs 349 plan includes 30GB of data, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS per day. Users will be charged Rs 10 per additional GB of data after exceeding the limit. This plan also offers unlimited 5G data, access to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud, making it ideal for individual users.
Reliance Jio Rs 449 Postpaid Plan
The Rs 449 plan provides 75GB of data, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS per day. After the 75GB data cap, an additional charge of Rs 10 per GB applies. This plan includes three additional family SIM cards, each costing Rs 99 per month extra. Each additional SIM comes with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day, though the data benefit is limited to 5GB. Like the Rs 349 plan, this also includes unlimited 5G data, JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud access.
Customers are encouraged to visit the official Reliance Jio website for further details and updates on the new postpaid plans.
