OMFED launches premium milk in new packaging to promote census awareness

Bhubaneswar, March 27: OMFED has introduced its premium milk in a redesigned packaging as part of an initiative to promote the “From Census to Public Welfare” campaign.

The move comes in support of the nationwide census programme launched by the Government of India. OMFED has extended its participation in the ongoing digital census drive in the state, including self-enumeration and the first phase of house listing and housing census.

As part of the awareness campaign, the cooperative has revamped the design of its premium milk packets to disseminate information and encourage public participation in the census process.

A special programme in this regard was organised at the OMFED headquarters in Bhubaneswar on Friday. The event was attended by Census Director Nikhil Pawan Kalyan, Joint Director Hemant Kumar Singh, along with other senior officials and staff members.

Additionally, posters aimed at raising awareness about the census have been unveiled and will be displayed across nearly 4,000 OMFED booths throughout the state.

The initiative is expected to enhance public outreach and encourage greater participation in the ongoing census activities.
