Paradip, August 24: Police have detained three road romeos in Paradip for harassing school girls with offensive remarks. The Paradip Lock police in the Jagatsinghpur district picked the offenders soon after the complaint lodged by some girls’ parents.
According to reports, the youths were frequently harassing the girls on their way to school, making lewd comments and foul gestures.
Acting on the objections raised by the parents hailing from Bishwalli the Police picked the offenders and detained them.
Further investigation is underway. Legal action will be initiated after verification of the detainees identification and age, said the police.
