Bhubaneswar: Odisha Junior Wushu team have made the state proud by winning seven medals including a gold, three silver and three bronze medals in the 24th junior National Wushu Championship 2025 held from 1-6 July at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad, Telangana.
A 46-member Odisha team including 39 players and 7 officials junior wushu team participated in the six-day long tournament.
Sudhanshu Shekhar Harichandan, Chairman Wushu Association of Orissa, Bishnu Mohan Mohanty. President, WAO, Yuvraj Harichandan secretary WAO and Bikash Pattnaik ,Vice President, WAO have congratulated all the officials and medal winners.
Medal winners: Gold: Sonakshi Mohanty, Wingchun.
Silver: Sadhana Majhi Dulian, Samridhi Dulian, Romesh Munda - Sanda, 48 kg Boys.
Bronze: Ayush Anshuman Sahu, Flexible Weapon, Rahul Ghadei Nan type, Unnati Prasad 52kg Girls, Sanda
