Bhubaneswar, June 4: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to cancel two MEMU trains till July 7 to facilitate rebuilding of stone slab bridges in the Dhanmandal–Kapilas Road section under Khurda Road Division.
“To facilitate rebuilding of stone slab bridges in the Dhanmandal–Kapilas Road section under Khurda Road Division, East Coast Railway will undertake essential infrastructure works aimed at enhancing safety and improving the reliability of rail operations during the month of June and July 2026,” said an ECoR statement.
According to the ECoR statement, Train No. 68424/68423 Cuttack–Bhadrak–Cuttack MEMU will remain cancelled on June 5, 12, 19, 26 and July 3.
Similarly, Train No. 68438/68437 Cuttack–Bhadrak–Cuttack MEMU will remain cancelled on June 5, 12, 19, 26 and July 3, it stated.
“Passengers are advised to take note of the above changes and plan their journeys accordingly. For updated train information, passengers may visit the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or use official railway enquiry services before commencing their journey,” the urged the ECoR.
