Bhubaneswar, Aug 25: Odisha has set a new benchmark in farmer registration, with a record-breaking 18,50,983 farmers enrolling ahead of the Kharif procurement season. The announcement was made by Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra.

Today marks the final day for registration, with the deadline set for midnight. Officials anticipate the number to rise further as last-minute entries continue.
