Bhubaneswar, July 28: The Department of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Odisha, has announced the counselling schedule for the online postgraduate (PG) admission process for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates can check the schedule on the official Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal at samsodisha.gov.in

Students who have completed their graduation or an equivalent qualification from a University Grants Commission (UGC)-recognised university are eligible to apply for PG courses offered by participating state public universities and colleges through SAMS.

As per the notified schedule, applicants can update their graduation or equivalent examination marks and lock their course preferences until August 2, 2026.

PG classes are scheduled to commence on August 21, 2026, while the final admission process, including document verification, will be conducted from September 1 to 2, 2026.
