Bhubaneswar, Dec 12: The Odisha government has proposed the creation of the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Puri Economic Region as part of its ambitious urban development plan.
The proposal, presented by the Urban and Housing Development Department, includes the Greater Bhubaneswar Vision, designed to boost economic growth and improve regional connectivity.
The plan was revealed in a high-level meeting led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, where discussions on infrastructure and urban development took place.
The new economic region will integrate Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Puri into a unified urban network, promoting infrastructure growth and opening up new opportunities for development.
The Greater Bhubaneswar Vision focuses on improving living standards, easing traffic congestion, and enhancing the region’s attractiveness as a destination for investment and tourism.
This initiative aims to strengthen the area’s economy and provide better services to its residents.
