Puri, Aug 20: Bhaskar Sahoo, who allegedly threw ink at Odisha 5T Secretary VK Pandian and Puri Collector Samarth Verma in Satyabadi area of the district yesterday, has been released by the police.
He was released after he signed an undertaking of not repeating such acts in the future.
Notably, Sahoo threw ink on 5T Secretary VK Pandian and Puri Collector Samarth Verma when they were attending an event at UGS College at Satyabadi.
Following the attack, the cops had detained the accused for questioning.
However, the exact reason behind the ink attack is yet to be ascertained.
