Odisha: Khariar R&B JE under Vigilance scanner over DA allegation

Nuapada, May 23: Odisha Vigilance on Friday conducted simultaneous raids at multiple locations associated with Junior Engineer (JE), Roads and Buildings Division (R&B) in Khariar area of Nuapada district on allegations of amassing disproportionate assets.
The accused official has been identified as Susanta Kumar Sethy.
As per reports, a team of the Vigilance officials led by seven DSP rank officers, three inspectors, 10 assistant sub-inspectors, and other supporting staff are carrying out simultaneous raids at eight places on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Vigilance Judge, Bhubaneswar.
The raids are being carried out at the following places:
Triple storeyed building located at Gangotri Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
2 Under construction house at Gangotri Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
Farmhouse located at Pilili in Puri district .
House of his relative at Brahmeswarpatna (Brit colony), Bhubaneswar.
Office chamber of Susanta Sethy located at R&B Sub-Division, Nuapada.
Govt quarter at Nuapada.
House of his associate located at Kedar lane, Bhubaneswar.
House of his another associate located at Garage chhack, Bhubaneswar.
