Bhubaneswar, April 6: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Dhenkanal has invited applications for its Post Graduate Diploma in Odia Journalism (PGDOJ) for the academic session 2026-27. This one-year full-time professional programme aims to train students in journalism, media writing, reporting, research, editing, PR and digital communication with a special focus on the Odia language.
The last date for submission of application is April 30, 2026 while entrance examination and interview will be conducted on May 11 (10 AM to 12 noon PM & 2 PM – 5 PM, respectively)

Eligibility
A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university
Candidates appearing in their final year of Graduation can also apply (subject to submission of final mark sheets by 30th September, 2026).

1. General: 25 years
2. OBC: 28 years
3. SC/ST/PwD : 30 years
Selection Process
Admission will be based on an entrance examination and interview conducted at IIMC, Dhenkanal Campus.
