Bhubaneswar, May 31:Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday attended a special listening session of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programmeMann Ki Baatat the New Inauguration Hall of Lok Bhavan in Bhubaneswar.
The event was also attended by Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, members of the Council of Ministers, vice-chancellors of government and private universities, senior government officials, registrars, and noted academicians from across the state.
Among the ministers present were Health & Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs and Electronics & Information Technology Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, School & Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain, and Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj.
During the broadcast, Prime Minister Modi touched upon several issues of national significance, including preparedness for summer floods, water conservation efforts, India’s growing achievements in sports, preservation of cultural heritage, and the contribution of youth towards nation-building. He underscored the importance of collective action in tackling environmental challenges and advancing social development.
The programme brought together representatives from the political, academic, and administrative sectors, providing a platform to reflect on key national issues highlighted by the Prime Minister. Participants listened to the address with keen interest and discussed various initiatives aimed at strengthening public awareness, civic engagement, and national progress.
