Bhubaneswar,, June 13:In a bid to empower farmers, the newly-elected BJP government in Odisha is all set to work out a Compressive Agriculture Policy within 100 days.
An innovative scheme under the aegis of “Samruddha Krushaka Niti’ (Comprehensive Agriculture Policy) will help to resolve several problems being faced by the farming community while empowering them.
Earlier on Wednesday, the first cabinet meeting of the BJP government chaired by CM Majhi approved four major decisions, including reopening of the four gates of the 12th-century shrine to facilitate free flow of devotees for seamless darshan of the sibling deities.
The Cabinet also provided a corpus fund worth Rs 500 crore for conservation, repair, renovation and management of the Puri Jagannath Temple affairs.
