Bhubaneswar: The Odisha senior women’s football team will be travelling tomorrow to Raipur, Chhattisgarh, to participate in the Final Round of the 30th Senior Women’s National Football Championship for the Rajmata Jijabai Trophy 2025-26, scheduled to be held at Narainpur, Chhattisgarh from 1-9 October 2025. Odisha has been placed in Group A alongside Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, and Goa. A 20-member squad of players along with 5 team officials will represent Odisha in this championship. The Odisha team led by Captain Pyari Xaxa and Vice-Captain Juli Kishan. In their opening league match they will face West Bengal on 3rd October at RKM Ashrama Ground.

MLA Jharsuguda and FAO President Tankadhar Tripathy, FAO Secretary Asirbad Behera, along with other office bearers and members of the Football Association of Odisha, have extended their best wishes to the team for the championship. The Odisha Senior Women’s Team has consistently delivered strong performances, finishing as Runners-Up in the last two editions of the National Championship and the National Games. The team will look to build on this momentum in the final round of this National Championship.
