Bhubaneswar, June 26: East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager Parmeshwar Funkwal on Friday conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Titlagarh-Muniguda Section. The inspection focused on reviewing the safety measures, traffic facilities, passenger amenities and the ongoing infrastructure works across several stations in the section.
According to an ECoR release, during the inspection, Funkwal thoroughly reviewed the status of various traffic facility works, passenger amenities and infrastructure development projects at key stations along the route. He emphasized the importance of ensuring safe and smooth train operations and directed officials to take necessary precautions.
Funkwal also reviewed the progress of several ongoing infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing passenger facilities. These include improvements in parking areas, circulating areas, and landscaping at stations.
He focused on the progress of station redevelopment works under the Amrit Station Scheme, which aims to elevate passenger experience across the network. The General Manager stressed upon timely completion of these critical projects, underscoring their significance in improving overall service quality for passengers.
Sambalpur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Subash C Chaudhary and other senior officials from Railway were present during the inspection and contributed to the discussions on project timelines and safety measures.
