Odisha deputes 17 OAS officers to five Covid affected districts

Bhubaneswar, April 25: The State government on Sunday deputed as many as 17 OAS officers to five Covid-19 affected districts in western Odisha. An order in this effect was today published by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department. As per the order, five OAS officers have been deputed to Nuapada while four OAS officers have been deputed to Sundargarh. Similarly three OAS officers each have been deputed to Balangir and Bargarh and two OAS officers will assist in Covid management in Sambalpur. “ The Controlling Authorities of the concerned OAS officers shall relieve their officers forthwith to enable them to report before the Collector & D.M., of the respective districts immediately. The Officers under orders of deployment are directed to report before the Collector & DMs, of the respective Districts accordingly without fail,” read the order.
