The deceased persons have been identified as Raibu Munda and his wife Gouri Munda, parents of a 5-month-old baby girl.
According to sources, the incident has been reported from Jogimath Munda Sahi in Padmapur panchayat area under Keonjhar Sadar police limits.
As per reports, a heated exchange of words ensued between the couple over family feud last night. Following this, they allegedly hung themselves from a tree using a saree.
Upon getting the information, police arrived at the scene and brought the bodies down. Later, they were sent for post-mortem.
A probe has been initiated into the matter to ascertain the exact cause behind the deaths, said the police.
