Bhubaneswar, June 14: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today paid floral tributes to various eminent personalities of the state at different places in Bhubaneswar.
He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan and several MLAs.
As per reports, Majhi paid floral tributes at the staues of Buxi Jagabandhu at Museum Square, Chakhi Khuntia at Kalpana Square, Jayee Rajguru and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at AG Square, and Rajendra Narayan Singh Deo at 120 Battalion Square.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Majhi highlighted the significant contributions of these leaders to the country's independence, the formation of the independent state of Odisha, and the preservation of Odia identity.
He expressed his gratitude and sought the blessings of these great personalities.
"Our government is prioritizing the protection of Odia identity and will continue to implement programs aimed at this goal," said Majhi.
