Odisha CM Majhi urges Gen Z to lead India towards a developed nation

Bhubaneswar, Aug 9: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today urged the state’s youth, particularly Gen Z, to play an active role in nation-building and contribute to India’s progress.

Participating in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally in Bhubaneswar, Majhi said that India’s Gen Z is deeply patriotic and has a strong desire to serve the nation and take the country forward.

He urged young people to recognise that India’s future leadership rests with them and encouraged them to work towards building a stronger and more developed nation.

The Chief Minister also cautioned young people against attempts by forces from abroad to mislead or divert the younger generation.

He called upon the youth to remain focused on national development and contribute positively to society.

“Certainly, some anti-national forces coming from abroad are trying to mislead and divert our Gen Z and young generation. Therefore, we gave them a suggestion and also advised them that now, India is your future and you are its leadership,” said the Chief Minister.

Majhi said that India’s future should be built with the vision of a developed India that can also emerge as a “Vishwaguru” (global leader).

He appealed to the youth of Odisha to use the spirit of the Tiranga Yatra and the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign as an opportunity to strengthen patriotism, build the nation and inspire others.

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign will run from August 9 to August 17. As part of the initiative, the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture is preparing 60 lakh Tricolours, which will be distributed to families across Odisha, aiming to bring the national flag to every household and encourage greater public participation in the campaign.
